MEDICAL CARE
At Peace & Love no one should have to feel unwell. The festival has medical tents set up that are staffed with doctors and other medical personnel. The medical tents are available both at the festival site and the campsite. If you go there you will be well looked after by considerate and kind personnel!
The medical care team collaborates with social services and the Swedish church so there is always someone available if you’re not feeling too good.
Soul Care
If you are feeling unwell, sad or just want someone to talk to you can come and talk to someone at Soul Care. Soul Care is a collaboration between the Festival church, the Swedish church and Peace & Love and consists of priests/pastors and others with relevant experience.
Some great tips
Important to remember
If you are going to be able to enjoy the festival fully it is vital that you look after yourself and remember to eat, drink water and sleep, otherwise you run the risk of not having the energy to see all of the bands that you came here to see. As well as being to strung out to enjoy all of the other bits of the festival that are available apart from the music.
Storage of medicine at the campsite
Are you bringing medicine that you don’t want to store in your tent? Contact medical care at the campsite and they will help you. REMEMBER! The medical staff will not help with the dosage or giving of the medication.
Emergeny, accident or fire
In case of emergency, accident or fire you should always call 112 and explain what has happened and where you are. Then conctact the Peace & Love medical care unit that can perform first aid until paramedics and other rescue services have arrived.
ICE in your phone
A request from Peace & Love is that you add an emergency contract in your mobile phone under the name of ICE (In Case of Emergency). (It could for example look like this: ICE mum Laura. This will help the medical staff immensely in case something would happen to you.)
