Yes, those who have bought a ticket to the Quiet Campsite or Quiet Campsite Deluxe will also have access to the regular campsite as the medical tent and Bazaar are located there. However you have to live and sleep at the campsite to which you bought a ticket.
When is the campsite open?
The Peace & Love 2012 Festival is held between the 26th and 30th of June. Information about exact times will be available at a later date.
What is the difference between the Regular campsite and the Quiet campsite?
The Quiet campsite is for those who want peace and quiet when the concerts are over so that you can sleep. This campsite should also be cleaner as the campsite is smaller and fewer people live here.
What is Quiet campsite Deluxe?
Those who live at Quiet campsite Deluxe can enjoy free access to showers, toilets (the ones that flush!) and mobile charging. This campsite is also the one closest to the festival.
Where are the campsites?
The campsites are at a walking distance from the festival site, the town centre and tourist information. A map will be available at a later date.
Which ticket do I need to get access to the campsite?
Only those who have bought a festival pass including camping can access the campsites. At the ticket-festival pass exchange, where your ticket is exchanged for a festival bracelet, visitors with a camping ticket will be given a special bracelet that gains you access to the campsite. Thus, the campsite is not available to those who do not have a camping ticket. If you are staying with someone else in your tent, this person must also buy a camping ticket.
Please note that camping is not and cannot be included in one or two day passes, which means that the holder of such a ticket cannot access the campsite.
Am I allowed to cook my own food at the campsite?
To an extent. Fire with open flames are prohibited at Peace & Love, cooking should take place in the designated cooking area, a gravelled area (see campsite map), and only by using a camping kitchen or disposable barbeque. This is for safety reasons. All flammable liquids are forbidden at the campsite, with the exception of liquids usable only for cooking at the camping kitchen. Remember that you are personally responsible for extinguishing the fire/barbeque etc before you leave. Remember to clean up before you go! If you do light a fire at any other part of the campsite this could at worst be considered attempted arson.
Is there an age limit at the campsite?
Yes there is. To stay at the campsite on your own you will have to be at least 16 years old. Those under the age of 16 are only allowed to stay at the campsite in company of a guardian/parent.
