Festival site
The Peace & Love festival area is located in the centre of Borlänge. Peace & Love 2012 will take place between the 26th and 30th of June. At the Peace & Love festival site you will find several stages, food and snack for sale, medical and spiritual care, information stands, performance artists, merchandise for sale, decorations, toilets, water stations (to fill your empty plastic bottles at), exhibitors and plenty of other things!
Safety – body & luggage search
At the festival site you can also find security guards, medical staff and general safety staff. They are there for your safety. Security guards work to maintain law and order, and to keep the festival secure and pleasant. Medical staffs are there to care for the attendees’ health and safety, and to keep the festival secure and pleasant. General safety staff works to maintain the safety of the visitors, and to keep the festival secure and pleasant.
To access the festival area you must go through a body and luggage/bag search by our volunteers. This is for your and everyone else’s safety. Be kind to the volunteers – they are there to help you have a safer festival experience.If you refuse the search you will not be permitted onto the festival site, and your ticket will not be refunded.
The following items, among other things, may not be brought onto the festival site:

Knives and other types of weapon are banned from the festival area, if they are found they will be confiscated by the security staff.
Glass bottles and other glass items, which also includes for example perfume bottles
Alcohol
Spray cans and big marker pens
Video cameras
Recording equipment (also includes Mini Disc and portable cd-players)
Music equipment with external sound
Pets
Masks, balaclavas or anything that will cover your face
Larger amounts of posters (without permission) or products for sale (without permission)
Potentially hazardous products, eg. gas driven horns
Umbrellas are not allowed at the Peace & Love festival site as they block the view of those standing behind you when you’re at a gig. Bring rain clothing instead.
Vuvuzuelas.
If you are found at the site with any of the above mentioned objects the object will be confiscated or the carrier of the item will be escorted out from the site – with the risk of having their festival pass cut off.
The following items are allowed at the festival site:
An empty plastic bottle to fill with water once inside the entrances
